WHAT IS SEMI PERMANENT MAKEUP?

SPMU brows, brow tattooing, micropigmentation, and cosmetic tattooing are all common names for the same thing. Using a digital tattooing method, pigment is placed in the dermis of the skin to mimic natural hair strokes or subtle shading, depending on your natural brow growth.

It is described as 'semi' permanent because over time the pigment will fade which gives the opportunity to tweak the shape of the brows to suit over time.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR BROW TATTOOING EXPERIENCE?

The process including a thorough consultation will take approximately 90mins.

The shape will be mapped out, measured and approved before any tattoo work begins, so there are no sudden surprises when it comes to such intricate work to the face. The tattooing process itself is carried out slowly and gradually with minimal discomfort as anaesthetic gel is applied throughout the treatment.

When the tattoo is finished we allow 4-6 weeks healing time. During this time you can expect fading and a little shrinkage which is perfectly normal.

After the 6 week period we can inspect and carry out any tweaks to the shape or reinforcement of pigment in areas if required.

Treatment complete! You can expect to require a retouch after 12-18 months.

WHAT WILL MY BROW TATTOOS LOOK LIKE?

During the first few weeks your brows will look a little darker. This is because there is pigment sitting close to the surface of the skin. They will begin to fade as they heal and settle to a very natural appearance.
